UW-LSU Tilt Picked For ESPN Night Game
July 16, 2012
SEATTLE - Washington's football game at LSU on Sept. 8 will kick off at 6:00 p.m. Central Time (4:00 p.m. Pacific) and will air live on ESPN television, the Southeastern Conference announced today. With the announcement, kickoff times and television arrangements are now established for six of the Huskies' 12 regular-season games, including the first four of the season. Times and TV for all remaining games will most likely be announced six or 12 days before each game by the Pac-12 Conference. The Huskies' game vs. LSU will mark the first time the UW has traveled to an SEC stadium since 1983, when Washington also went to Baton Rouge to face the Tigers. The UW opened the 2009 season against the LSU at Husky Stadium. The season kicks off one week before the LSU game as the Huskies take on San Diego State Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at CenturyLink Field. After the LSU trip, Washington returns home to face Portland State Sept. 15 at 1:00 p.m. and Stanford Sept. 27 (a Thursday) at 6:00 p.m. For the complete 2012 Husky football schedule, click here. |
