Locker Touches Down In The Big Apple
June 27, 2010
NEW YORK - Washington quarterback Jake Locker arrived in New York City Sunday afternoon, preparing for a media tour to raise awareness of Husky football on the East Coast. Locker flew out of SeaTac Airport early Sunday morning for the cross-country trip, touching down at Kennedy Airport at around 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. After fighting through the busy traffic to make it to the hotel in Manhattan, there was enough time for a little walk around the downtown area before dinner. Check out the photo gallery link at the top of this page for a few shots. Tomorrow, Locker will spend the day at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., where he'll appear on a number of TV and radio shows, host a live chat and tape segments for future TV shows.
