SEATTLE - Game times and television arrangements for five of Washington's 12 football games this fall were released today as the Pac-12 Conference and its television partners announced the early-season schedule. The Huskies will kick off the 2012 season Sept. 1 when San Diego State visits CenturyLink Field. That game will begin at 7:30 p.m. PT and will air on the Pac-12 Networks. Two weeks later (Sept. 15) in Seattle, the Huskies' game vs. Portland State will kick at 1:00 p.m. PT and air on FX television. Aside from the first three week's games, the Pac-12 also announced times and TV for most of the conference's non-Saturday games, including all three such UW games. The Huskies' home date vs. Stanford on Thursday, Sept. 27, will begin at 6:00 p.m. PT and will air on ESPN. On Friday, Nov. 2, the UW's game at California will also kick at 6:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN2. Finally, the UW regular-season finale, the annual Apple Cup vs. Washington State in Pullman on Friday, Nov. 23, will get started at 12:30 p.m. PT and will be carried by either FOX or FX. Washington's game at LSU on Sept. 8 was not included in this announcement as it is a road game.
