SEATTLE - Two of the Washington football team's first three games have been selected for live television broadcasts, the Pac-10 Conference announced today.

The conference office announced ABC/ESPN's early-season selections. The Huskies' Sept. 5 season-opener vs. LSU, the first game under new head coach Steve Sarkisian, will air live on ESPN, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. PDT.

Two weeks later, on Sept. 19, the Huskies' home game vs. Pac-10 rival USC will be broadcast on ABC television, starting at 12:30 p.m. The game, of course, pits Sarkisian against his former team and coaching mentor, Pete Carroll.

Washington's game at Notre Dame has already been selected for broadcast by NBC. That game, at South Bend, kicks off Oct. 3 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

The Pac-10 will announce Fox Sports Net and Versus' selections in June. Additionally, ESPN/ABC will announce additional broadcasts as the season goes along, generally the Monday two weeks before each game.

The Huskies have had every game broadcast on live television, between the conference's contracts with ABC/ESPN, FSN and Versus and the UW's contract with FSN Northwest.
