Seattle - Former Washington safety Curtis Williams was discharged from the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose today. Williams has relocated to Fresno, Calif. to move into the residence of his older brother, David, and David's wife, Chris.

"Curtis is pretty excited and happy to get home," said his brother David.

A senior defensive back at Washington last season, Williams suffered a severe spinal cord injury during the Huskies' October 28 football game at Stanford that left him paralyzed below the neck. Williams was admitted to the Stanford University Medical Center following the injury and has undergone rehabilitation therapy at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center since mid-November.

Fans can also continue to make contributions to the Curtis Williams Fund. The fund was established within the University to support Williams with his long-term care and to assist with expenses over and above those covered by family, University and NCAA catastrophic injury insurance programs.
