2009: Played in all 12 games as one of the Huskies' key special teams players ... placed on scholarship before the start of the 2009 season ... finished the year with seven tackles ... notched two stops in the Huskies' 30-0 win over Washington State ... also had one tackle each vs. Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State and California.
2008: Played in eight of the UW's 12 games, all but the contests vs. Oregon, Brigham Young, Oklahoma and USC ... a regular on several of the Husky special teams ... notched a pair of tackles in the Huskies' game at California.
2007: Appeared in two games as a special teams player ... played in the games at Syracuse and vs. USC ... named the team's defensive service team player of the week for the California and Washington State games.
2006: A regular on the Huskies' special teams, saw action in 10 of 12 games in 2006, all but San Jose State and Fresno State ... recorded a special teams tackle in the Oklahoma game ... won the UW's Pepsi Player of the Week Award for his work on the service team after the Arizona game.
2005: Did not see action as a freshman walk-on.
HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL: Played outside linebacker and tight end for Enumclaw High School ... was coached by Mike Ernoga ... T.J.'s father, Tom, was a standout linebacker at Washington State in the 1970s, earning All-Pac-8 honors before going on to play in the Canadian Football League.
