10/20/2011 Mammoth Tight Ends Are Keys To UW-Stanford ShowdownHuskies, Stanford feature a combined 39 feet, 2 inches of tight ends, a rarity in college football today. 2011: Played in 10 of the Huskies' 13 games, starting at one tight end spot in the Oregon game ... former walk-on awarded a scholarship prior to the start of the season ... saw regular action at tight end ... caught one pass, a two-yard touchdown at Stanford. 2010: Joined the team as an invited walkon for the start of fall, 2010 camp ... was a regular on the UW travel squad as a backup tight end and also a long snapper ... didn't see any game action and redshirted his true freshman season ... participated in spring football in 2011, but was also a pitcher on the Husky baseball team.
