Glant Tough Husky Award at the team's postseason awards banquet ... the Huskies' starter at fullback and also a standout special teams performer ... appeared in all 13 games and started 11 of 13 at fullback ... had 22 carries, six receptions and also returned eight kickoffs as an up-back ... top statistical game was the win at Stanford, when he carried the ball five times for 19 yards and had two receptions for seven yards, all season-highs ... scored a touchdown on a one-yard carry at Hawaii ... totaled five tackles on special teams, with a high of two at Arizona State ... forced a fumble at UCLA ... named the team's offensive player of the week for the Ohio State game.
2006: Won the Travis Spring Most Outstanding Freshman (offense) award at the team's postseason awards banquet ... played in all 12 games, primarily on several of the UW's special teams, but also occasionally at fullback ... finished the season with three total tackles, all on special teams ... played as an up-back on the kick return team and had five kickoff returns during the season ... had one return for 14 yards at Oklahoma, two for 24 yards vs. UCLA and two for 33 yards at Oregon ... season-long 20-yard kick return at Oregon ... won the UW's Pepsi Player of the Week Award for his work on the service team after the Fresno State and Arizona State games ... one of two true freshmen to play in a game in 2006, along with linebacker Donald Butler.
