2010: Walkon earned his first playing time this season ... played in each of the last nine games of the season ... started as a second tight end in the Oregon game. 2009: Didn't see any game action during the 2009 season ... spent the year as a member of the Huskies' service teams. 2008: Joined the team as a walkon in the fall of 2008 ... redshirted his true freshman season. HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL: Joined the team in September, 2008, as an invited walkon ... earned first-team All-Wesco honors as a defensive lineman as a junior in 2006 and again as a senior in 2007 ... also a standout shot putter and discus thrower in high school, winning the district title in the discus as a senior. |
