Husky Radio
The 2006 season marks the first year that ISP Sports will coordinate the Husky Radio Network. The long-term agreement provides the Huskies with wider coverage across the west coast. As the country's largest and fastest growing multimedia rightsholder, ISP Sports serves as an active partner with nearly 40 of America's leading universities, two major conferences and two postseason bowl games. Seattle all-sports radio station KJR-950 AM serves as the flagship station for the Husky Radio Network. Gameday coverage for UW football features 11 hours of pre- and post-game coverage. Also, a weekly show featuring Washington's head coach Tyrone Willingham will air live from Anthony's Homeport Shilshole on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. on network stations. Highly regarded play-by-play broadcaster Bob Rondeau heads up the group of announcers who will call the action on the Husky Radio Network. Rondeau is joined by former Husky All-American place kicker Chuck Nelson, who provides analysis and color commentary. Elise Woodward provide sideline reports. A variety of KJR-AM personalities will handle portions of the pre- and post-game coverage for the network.
