Arizona Unanimous Pick in Pac-10 Men's Basketball Media Poll
Nov. 1, 2000 LOS ANGELES - The defending Pac-10 co-champion ARIZONA Wildcats are a unanimous choice to finish first in the 2000-01 Pacific-10 Conference Men's basketball race, according to a poll of media members who cover Pac-10 men's basketball. The poll shows Arizona gathered all 29 first-place votes and are tabbed the favorite this season. Defending Pac-10 co-champion STANFORD is picked for second place. USC edges UCLA for third place. CALIFORNIA and OREGON follow in fifth and sixth place respectively, with OREGON STATE just five points behind Oregon in seventh. ARIZONA STATE gets the nod for eighth, while WASHINGTON and WASHINGTON STATE round out the preseason poll.
