BELGRADE, Seribia -- Husky forward Quincy Pondexter and Team USA (6-1) beat Israel (6-2) 91-80 on Saturday to win the bronze medal at the World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia.

Pondexter was held scoreless in just seven minutes of action. According to his Twitter page, Pondexter said he sprained his ankle during Friday's semifinal loss to Russia.

Medaling in every World University Games in which a USA Basketball team has competed, the USA is now 131-8 in all-time World University Games play and owns a record 13 gold medals, three silver medals and three bronze medals.

Host Serbia beat Russia, 73-51 to capture the gold medal.
