SAN ANTONIO -- The United States (4-0) downed Canada 122-89 in Tuesday's semifinals of the 2010 FIBA-Americas U18 Championship played at Bill Greehey Arena in San Antonio, Texas and will play Brazil on Wednesday in the Gold Medal game. Husky sophomore Abdul Gaddy scored eight points, grabbed two rebounds and dished out two assists in the 33-point victory.

Gaddy has averaged 6.3 points per game in the four games of the tournament.

Five Americans scored in double figures, led by Austin Rivers who set a new American record with 35 points. Rivers hit nine of Team USA's record 14 three-point buckets.

Once again, the United States jumped out of the gates quickly and held a 37-10 advantage after the first period. Canada played much better in the second quarter and were only outscored 31-29 to trail 68-31 at halftime.

It was much of the same in the third quarter with Team USA outscoring the Canadians 32-22. In the fourth, Canada rallied a bit by outscoring the Americans 28-22, but it was not enough.

The United States will play Brazil at 7:00 pm CT (5:00 pm PT) on Wednesday night while Canada will face Argentina in the bronze medal game.
