SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the brackets and campus game schedule for the 2012 Tip-Off Tournament. Washington will host two games before heading to Uncasville, Connecticut for a pair of games at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Washington will host Loyola (Md.) on Nov. 11 and Albany on Nov. 13 as part of the campus game schedule. The Huskies will then cross the country and play Seton Hall out of the Big East on Nov. 17 and either Ohio State or Rhode Island on Nov. 18. The Huskies have never played Seton Hall, Loyola, Albany or Rhode Island. Washington holds an 8-3 all-time record against Ohio State, last playing the Buckeyes in 1973. The 2012 Tip-Off Tournament game schedule will be separated into two brackets. The Springfield bracket will include: Albany, Loyola (Md.), Missouri-Kansas City and Norfolk State. The Naismith bracket will include: Ohio State, Washington, Seton Hall, and Rhode Island. Game times for both rounds will be announced at a later date. Pre-sale of tickets for participating school fans will go on-sale via Ticketmaster on April 23rd. General public tickets will be available starting July 23 via all Ticketmaster outlets and the Mohegan Sun Box Office. All tickets will be good for all of the games on each day of the tournament.
