STANFORD, Calif. - University of Washington senior Deon Luton was named to the second-team Oldsmobile NCAA Division I All-District 14 squad, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced on Thursday.
The 6-foot-5 guard is the Huskies' top scorer, ranking 10th among Pacific-10 Conference players with 15.3 points per game. He leads the team in 3-pointers with 56 and ranks second in steals (30) and blocked shots (21).
The All-District 14 first team includes Stanford's Mark Madsen and Casey Jacobsen along with Sean Lampley of California and Gonzaga's backcourt tandem of Matt Santangelo and Richie Frahm.
Luton is joined on the second team by Oregon State's Deandra Tanner and Kenyon Jones of San Francisco along with the Oregon duo of A.D. Smith and Alex Scales.
A product of Del City High School in Oklahoma, Luton ranks 12th among all-time Pac-10 players with 208 career 3-pointers.
