Ross Named GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete Of The Week

SEATTLE - Sophomore Terrence Ross of the UW men's basketball team has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 13-19. Ross (Portland, Ore.) helped Washington move to 19-8 overall, 12-3 in the Pac-12 Conference in a pair of wins over Arizona State and Arizona by averaging 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 rebounds and shooting 56.3% from the field. In Thursday's win over ASU, Ross led the Huskies with 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting, including 4-for-8 from 3-point range. He also grabbed a rebound and added an assist and steal. Ross did a majority of his damage in the second half vs. the Sun Devils, hitting three of his four three pointers and scoring 11 points. Ross followed up his Thursday night performance with 25 points, five rebounds and a career-high five steals vs. Arizona. Ross scored 15 of his points in the first half and ended up 10-for-11 from the field inside the 3-point line. He has now scored 10+ points in 25 of 27 games and has five games with 20 or more points.
