Year elected to Husky Hall of Fame: 1980 Played basketball in 1944 and from 1947 to 1948. Leading scorer and captain of 1948 UW team that won the Pacific Coast Conference crown and finished third at NCAA West Regionals; named All-Coast center and set conference scoring record of 265 points and Husky single-game record of 39; went on to play 10 years in the NBA. |
