Coach Bender on Clark "Greg is a player who deserved to be in the starting lineup more last year, based on what he was doing for us from practice to games. That will be the opportunity he has this year. Consistency is certainly where we look for him to step up as a senior. He's given us glimpses in the past and now the opportunity is there for him to do it every night. His role doesn't change of the defensive end; we're going to assign him to the opponent's top scorers on the perimeter. Offensively we'll try to keep things more simple and he'll always be a perimeter player. The first few games, from the exhibition games on, he's a guy that needs to gain confidence and build upon it."
