Construction of the new UW Baseball Team Building has continued at a rapid pace all during the fall. Anyone driving past Husky Ballpark can't help but notice the large, new structure, which will house the Huskies' locker room, training room, study area, coaches' offices and a 1,400-square foot meeting room. The $4-million facility is the first stage of new construction at Husky Ballpark, which opened in 1998. The 9,000-square foot team building is slated to open next spring. A second phase of construction will add permanent stadium seating, press box, concourse and concession areas.
