Washington's alumni weekend will take place Sept. 28-29 as the Diamond Dawgs host the annual alumni game on Friday and a golf tournament on Saturday. The weekend actually kicks off Thursday night when the UW football team hosts Stanford in the Pac-12 opener at CenturyLink Field. On Friday, Sept. 28, batting practice and a home run derby will get underway at 5:30 and the alumni game begins at 6:30 p.m. Following the game, a dinner will be held in the Omaha Room in the Gittinger Team Building at Husky Ballpark. Saturday, Sept. 29, the alumni golf tournament, at Washington National Golf Course in Auburn, will get underway with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at noon and a dinner and award ceremony follows.
