Austin Voth is slated to start Friday night at Lamar.

Feb. 21, 2013

SEATTLE - The Washington baseball team's schedule for this weekend's tournament in Beaumont, Texas, has changed due the fact that Creighton, one of the three participants, is unable to travel due to a snowstorm in the Midwest.

Creighton announced that it would be unable to make the trip earlier today on its website.

So, instead of a three-team tournament, the schedule will instead simply be a four-game, three-day series between Washington and host Lamar.

The series gets underway Friday with a game at 6:00 p.m. CT/4:00 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the teams will play a doubleheader, starting at 1:00 p.m. CT/11:00 a.m. PT and then close out the weekend Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. CT/11:00 a.m. PT game.

Please note that while the original schedule called for the UW to play two games on Sunday, the Huskies will now play two games on Saturday and one each on Friday and Sunday.
