2009: Pitched in 13 games in 2009, three as the starter and 10 in relief ... three no-hit innings Feb. 21 at Fresno State in first outing of the year ... struck out eight and allowed only one run, two hits and no walks for the win over Wisconsin-Whitewater Feb. 26 at the Metrodome ... worked a scoreless inning April 17 vs. UCLA ... struck out five in 3.1 no-hit innings April 28 vs. Lewis-Clark State ... fanned eight and allowed two runs on three hits over four innings in a start May 13 vs. BYU ... also started May 17 at Arizona ... spent the summer with the Anchorage Bucs in the Alaska League ... went 4-1 with 34 strikeouts and 13 walks in 32.2 innings for the Bucs.

Earned three varsity letters playing for coach Dana Papasedero ... served as team captain as a senior ... named first-team All-Metro League and honorable mention all-state as a junior and again as a senior ... finished career with a 13-9 record, a 2.89 earned run average and 123 strikeouts in 106 innings ... played on a northwest all-star "Mariner Cup" team that played against a California all-star team ... selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 44th round of the 2007 draft, becoming the first Lakeside player ever drafted.
