FERRIS HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons of varsity baseball for coach Jim Sharkey ... as a senior, batted .468 with six homers ... helped the Saxons to the Greater Spokane League title as a senior ... team went 21-4 and finished eighth in the state ... first-team All-GSL catcher in 2010 and 2011 ... also first-team all-state as a senior ... second-team all-league catcher in 2009, his sophomore seasons ... also earned two letters in football ... graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
