2012 UW Baseball Preview, Part II: Catchers & Infielders

Diamond Dawgs open 2012 slate Feb. 17 at San Diego State.

WASHINGTON:
2013: Has started 11 games at catcher ... made first appearance of the season as a pinch hitter in the fourth game at UC Davis, laying down a successful sacrifice bunt ... appeared as a pinch runner March 2 vs. Cal Poly ... made first two college starts as the UW catcher in the last two games of the series at LSU ... 1-for-2 in a walk March 9 at LSU ... played in two games, starting one at catcher, in the UCLA series ... had a pinch-hit, two-run double in the UW win at SeattleU on April 2 ... doubled and scored off the bench April 8 at Northridge ... played in two of the three games at Stanford ... 1-for-2 off the bench April 14 vs. the Cardinal ... came off the bench in the April 28 game vs. Cal and went 3-for-3 ... started all three games of the Arizona series at catcher, going 6-for-11 with three RBI, a walk, a sacrifice hit and no strikeouts in the series ... 4-for-5 with three RBI and three runs in the 23-1 win in Tucson May 3 ... started two of three games in the Utah series.
