2007: Didn't see any action while recovering from Tommy John (elbow) surgery that he underwent prior to his arrival at UW ... recovered in time to play summer ball for the Moses Lake (Wash.) Pirates, helping them to the WCCBL championship ... started seven league games for Moses Lake, going 3-2 with a 2.43 earned run average ... allowed 34 hits and struck out 34 in 37.0 innings.
