2011: Appeared in 23 games (tied for second-most on the team) and started five as a true freshman ... picked up the win in first appearance, the season-opener Feb. 18 vs. Missouri State ... went two and one-third in relief in that game, allowing no runs on two hits ... in two relief outings at CS Bakersfield, allowed two hits and fanned four over three scoreless innings ... struck out only two batters he faced in first BYU game ... after five shutout relief outings, finally allowed a run in third game of BYU series, but still got the save, allowing that one run over three innings ... made first start March 22 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff and got the win ... gave up four runs and struck out six over six innings in that one ... no decision despite a very good start four days later vs. Nevada ... worked eight and one-third innings vs. the Wolfpack, allowing three runs on eight hits with no walks and three Ks ... two scoreless relief outings in UCLA series ... pitched a scoreless 10th for the save April 9 at Oregon ... no decision in start April 12 at SeattleU, when he worked four and one-third shutout innings, allowing just two hits ... picked up the win April 19 vs. SeattleU, pitching seven shutout innings while allowing only three hits ... suffered lone loss in a start May 14 vs. Oregon State, working six innings ... earend a win in relief May 24 vs. Washington State in Pasco, Wash., pitching a scoreless, no-hit inning ... played for the Bend (Ore.)
