2011: Started 47 of the Huskies' games, and appeared in two others ... started 39 in right field, five at DH and three at catcher ... 2-for-4 Feb. 19 vs. Nebraska ... 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI the next day vs. Air Force ... 2-for-5 with two RBI Feb. 25 at CS Bakersfield ... first homer of the season March 5 vs. BYU ... March 29 vs. Portland, led off the 10th inning with a double and eventually scored the game-winner in a 5-4 victory ... 2-for-4 April 12 at SeattleU ... 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and an RBI April 19 vs. SeattleU ... 2-for-4 with two RBI in back-to-back games vs. USC ... homered in the first of those two (April 22) ... hit a solo homer April 30 at Washington State ... 2-for-4 at Stanford May 7 ... 3-for-3 at Arizona May 27 ... played in the Cape Cod League over the summer as a member of the Brewster Whitecaps.

Bluejackets of the West Coast League ... led the league with seven homers and was named the No. 2 prospect in the WCL by Baseball America ... was also second in the league with 34 RBI and 15 doubles while batting .314.

MEADOWDALE HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons of varsity baseball under coach Bill Hummel ... a four-year starter who caught and pitched ... started all 97 games of his career ... led teams to the 3A state semi-finals in both his sophomore and junior seasons ... earned first-team all-state catcher as a junior ... first-team All-WesCo as a designated hitter and second-team as catcher his senior year, when he was also listed on ESPN Rise's all-area first team ... named the Everett Herald's area player of the year as a senior ... Seattle Post-Intelligencer all-area as a junior and Seattle Times all-area as a senior ... hit .444, slugged .917 and had nine homers and 31 RBI as a senior ... hit two homers in back-to-back games in the 2009 district playoffs ... batted .395 as a junior, when he also had four saves and a 0.86 ERA on the mound ... second-team All-WesCo DH as a sophomore.
