Washington kicked off the 2009 cross country campaign at Lincoln Park in West Seattle on Saturday morning. The top-ranked Husky women began their NCAA title defense with a 21-point victory, and sophomore Kendra Schaaf successfully defended her individual title, lowering her course record to 19:49 in the process. The men's squad, ranked 24th in the preseason, rolled to a 32-point win, with senior Kelly Spady earning the first 8k victory of his career. Watch some of the action below!
