Katie Flood finishes third in her season debut in a field of over 250 runners.
The top-ranked women will debut many of their top returners while the men run on Oregon's home turf.
The Husky cross country teams win the team titles at Lincoln Park in West Seattle.
2012 (Cross Country): Competed three times in the fall, including a trip to the Pac-12 Championships, where he finished 77th overall as UW's tenth finisher ... started the season with a 26th-place showing at the Sundodger in 25:25 ... also ran unattached at the Bill Dellinger Invite, finishing 65th overall.
2011-12: Redshirted the season to preserve a year of eligibility, running three times unattached ... placed 29th at the season-opening Sundodger Invite in a time of 25:20 ... took eighth overall at the Emerald City Open in Woodland Park ... had a strong day at the Mike Hodges Invite in Oregon, placing third in 20:27 over the 4-mile course, the second Husky finisher, attached or unattached ... (Track): Busy first indoor season in the distances before redshirting the outdoor campaign ... indoors, had three runs at the mile, the best one being a time of 4:15.77 at the Husky Classic ... also ran a 3k indoors in 8:45.35 ... competed twice unattached outdoors, running a 1,500-meters and one steeplechase.

I state meet in the 4x400-meters, splitting 51.3 seconds ... all-league on the track as a junior and senior and all-district as a senior ... cross country squad made the California state meet his final three seasons, with a sixth-place finish as a senior ... finished 60th at the state cross country meet as a senior, after a 29th-place finish as a junior, and a 142nd-place finish as a sophomore ... as a senior, finished third at the CCS Championships in cross country ... ran to a 19th-place finish at the Mt. SAC cross country meet in Oct. 2010 ... competed at Foot Locker West Regionals in 2010, placing 28th overall.
