Orr Features 2010-11: Redshirted the season to preserve a year of eligibility but still had a very successful year on the trails ... cross country highlights came during the winter, as she placed seventh at the U.S. Junior Cross Country Championships in San Diego to earn a spot on Team USA for the North American Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championships held in Trinidad ... went on to win the individual gold medal at the NACAC race, finishing in 13:54 for the 4km race, leading Team USA to the silver team medal ... competed unattached at the Sundodger Invite, placing 28th overall at Lincoln Park ... next raced at the Emerald City Open, where she finished fifth overall, second among all UW competitors ... (Track): Turned in an excellent first indoor season before a stress fracture forced her to redshirt the outdoor campaign ... ran a mile PR of 4:44.63, just a split second out of the UW top-10, in the UW Final Qualifier, placing second ... finished fourth in the MPSF Championships mile run, crossing in 4:47.46, and also ran the 800-meter leg on the distance medley relay, which took fourth in 11:20.85, the No. 4 time in school history ... ran just one 3,000-meter race, but it was the seventh-fastest in school history, as she rolled to a time of 9:26.73 at the Husky Classic ... ran a 5:02.21 mile at the UW Indoor Preview, but then cut fifteen seconds off that time just two weeks later, as she posted a 4:47.51 at the UW Invitational to take seventh in a deep field. High School and Personal: Born in Bellevue, Washington ... parents are Lisa and Robert Orr ... has one younger brother, Jason ... helped lead Eastlake to back-to-back Washington 4A State titles her junior and senior seasons ... a four-time Top-20 finisher in cross country at the Washington 4A State Championships, including an 11th-place finish as a freshman in 2006 and a 15th-place finish as a senior in 2009 ... competed at the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland as a junior in 2008, placing 102nd overall ... named Eastlake Most Valuable Track Athlete as a sophomore and senior ... was 16th at the 4A state meet as a senior in the 1,600-meters ... in 2008, took ninth in the 1,600m and 10th in the 800m at the Washington State Meet ... also won the KingCo 800-meter title as a sophomore in a PR of 2:14.76 and was second at 1,600-meters in another best of 5:02.70 ... named Seattle Times Eastside Athlete of the Week in 2008.
