2011-12: One of three freshmen to compete attached during the fall season, earning a spot at the Pac-12 Championships ... at the inaugural Pac-12 meet in Arizona, she finished 82nd overall and ninth among Huskies in a time of 22:17 ... also made the trip to the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, running eighth on the team and 152nd overall in 22:47 ... earned her first collegiate victory at the Mike Hodges Invitational in Oregon, running 17:48 to win the 5k race by a full 18 seconds ... started her career by scoring for UW in the Sundodger Invite victory, placing 12th overall and fifth on the team in a time of 21:43 ... High School and Personal: Born in Seattle ... parents are Jeannie and Troy Johnson ... has one older sister, Ashley ... a mid-distance specialist on the track, also ran great cross country for Shorewood ... a three-time Washington 4A State Cross Country Championships competitor, with a best finish of ninth in 2008 as a sophomore ... was the WesCo runner-up as a junior in 2009 ... reached the 4A state track meet all four years, placing 11th in the 400-meters as a freshman before moving up to 800-meters ... was second at state in the 800-meters as a junior in 2010 ... her senior year, she won districts for the third straight year with a PR of 2:14.68 ... went on to finish 11th at state in the 800-meters ... also was sixth at the 4A state meet at 800m in 2009 as a sophomore ... track team MVP all three years and cross country MVP from 2007-09.
