Men's Cross Country Season Preview

Washington returns all seven of its 2011 Regional competitors, a group that collectively had a terrific summer of training.

2012 (Cross Country): Redshirted the season, running once unattached at the Sundodger Invite, finishing 33rd in 25:41, the best finish among UW unattached competitors.

High School and Personal: Born in Denver, Colorado ... parents are Maribeth and Colin Harris ... has three older brothers, Colin, Kevin, and Quinn ... uncle Richie Harris ran for Colorado State and professionally for Athletics West and broke four-minutes in the mile ... captured the Colorado 4A state title on the track at 1,600-meters his senior year, running a PR in the finals of 4:18.79 ... also took sixth at state in 2012 in the 3,200m ... took the win in the 3,200m at the 2012 Tri-Valley/Northern Conference meet, clocking a personal-best of 9:32.53 ... was 14th in the 2011 state finals in both the 1,600- and 3,200-meters ... in cross country, finished ninth at the Colorado 4A state meet as a senior in 2011, after a 13th-place finish at state as a junior.
