2009-10: Continued to progress into one of the Pac-10 and West Region's top runners, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the NCAA West Regional Championships, helping UW to a dominant 25 point win and earning All-West Region honors ... overcame an ankle injury mid-race, coming back to finish 16th at the Pac-10 Championships and help UW to a seven-point win as the No. 5 scorer ... competed at her first NCAA Championships but had an off-race, coming in at 182 as the team placed third ... was the No. 4 scorer for the Dawgs at Pre-Nationals, placing 15th as the Huskies captured the White Race championship ... picked up Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention ... (Track): Once again one of the top mid-distance runners in the West, though her Husky track career ended in tough fashion as she was tripped up and knocked out of the 1,500-meter quarterfinals at the NCAA Championship West Preliminaries ... had advanced through the NCAA first round in Austin, ninth overall, in a time of 4:21.17, before falling in the next round, resulting in a premature end to her season ... finished a career-best fifth at the Pac-10 Championships in the 1,500-meter final, running 4:21.02 ... opened up her outdoor season with a season-best time of 4:20.82 at the Stanford Invitational ... took fourth at the Mt. 2008-09: Enjoyed best cross country season yet, as certainly one of the best reserves in the nation ... depth of the national champion Huskies prevented her from running Regionals or NCAA's but would likely have scored on any other team ... placed sixth overall and fourth on the team at the Sundodger Invite in a new PR of 20:47 ... placed 13th overall at the Tiger Invite, incredibly the No. 8 Husky finisher ... was the seventh UW finisher at Pre-Nationals, in 51st overall, which would have been top-five for 39 of the 41 teams competing ... ran at Pac-10's but was unable to finish due to illness ... earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention ... (Track): One of the most improved runners in the nation, reaching both NCAA Championship meets and earning All-America honors as part of UW's distance medley relay ... set a school record in her first race of the season, as she ran the 800m leg on the DMR at the UW Invitational, which finished in 11:05.80 ... cut an astonishing 15 seconds off her previous mile PR by season's end, running 4:38.51 at the UW Last Chance Invitational, the third-best mark in program history ... first mile run of the season was an eight second PR, a time of 4:45.29 at the UW Invite ... ran the anchor leg on the DMR, which won the MPSF title in 11:16.57, and the 800m leg again at NCAA Indoors where UW finished eighth in 11:06.81 and earned All-America honors ... qualified for the mile run as well but focused on DMR ... outdoors, competed as an individual at NCAA's for the first time, placing 17th in the 1,500-meter run with a mark of 4:20.10 in the prelims ... lowered her 1,500-meter personal best by 11 seconds, going from 4:29 down to 4:18.43, set at the UW-WSU dual, ranking ninth on the UW Top-10 ... also ran an 800m PR of 2:06.51 (4th in school history) at the dual meet, completing an incredible day where she posted two Top-10 times ... ran the opening leg of UW's 4x1,500-meter relay at the Penn Relays in UW's first appearance in 16 years, with the quarter finishing third in 17:14.55, surpassing the previous college record ... took sixth at 1,500-meters in the Pac-10 Championships final in 4:29.24.
2007-08: Competed twice on the year, leading the Huskies at the Willamette Invite with a third-place finish in 17:31 ... placed 31st at Mike Hodges Invite (6th UW) ... ran a full track season, highlighted by a 9th-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships in the 1500-meters in 4:32.75 ... career-best 1500m time of 4:29.48 at the Oregon Invitational ... lowered her personal-best mile time by seven seconds, running 4:53.60 at the Husky Classic ... set a PR in the 800m in a time of 2:13.39 at the Last Chance Qualifier.
2006-07: Competed three times in the mile indoors, with season-best time of 5:00.07 at the UW Indoor Preview ... indoor mile time ranked fifth on team ... outdoors, ran 800m and 1500m ... placed second in the 800m at the Ken Shannon Invite in 2:15.68 ... best 1500m time came at the Oregon Invitational, where she clocked 4:41.88 ... redshirted the cross country season to preserve a year of eligibility.
High School and Personal: Parents, Rana and Derek, both competed for UW's club sailing team ... has a younger brother, Brent ... one of the state's top middle-distance runners ... earned matching fourth-place finishes in the state 1600m final in both 2003 and 2005 ... swept league and district titles in the event as a freshman ... placed second in the 1600m at both the league and district meets from 2004-06, and was second in the 800m at both meets her last two seasons ... also lettered four years in soccer ... earned All-KingCo honorable mention honors on the soccer field as a junior ... graduated with a 3.96 GPA ... plans to major in biology.
