2010-11: Came on strong towards the end of the season, running in UW's top-three for the first time at the final three meets of the year ... placed 42nd in his first NCAA West Regional meet, running 31:00 for his first 10k to help UW place sixth ... was the second Husky finisher at the Pac-10 meet, placing 35th overall at Jefferson Park Golf Course, a seven-spot improvement from his freshman year ... second on the team as well at the Pre-National Meet, finishing No. 103 ... finished 17th overall at the Sundodger Invite at Lincoln Park ... (Track): Breakthrough sophomore season saw him become the fourth Washington athlete ever to break the four-minute mile barrier, and go on to score at the NCAA Indoor Championships ... at the UW Final Qualifier, he powered to a blistering time of 3:58.51 to hit the NCAA automatic qualifying mark and post the second-fastest mile in school history ... advanced to the NCAA mile final by taking fourth in the prelims in a time of 4:01.33 ... placed eighth in the NCAA mile final in 4:01.88, earning First Team All-America status ... also ran top-five all-time marks in the 3,000-meter and the 5,000-meters indoors ... time of 8:00.17 in the 3k at the Husky Classic is third-fastest in school history, and his sixth-place 5k run at the MPSF Championships in 13:54.77 is fourth in school history ... outdoors, had his season cut short by an ankle injury suffered going over a steeplechase barrier ... opened his outdoor season with another PR in the 5,000-meters at the Stanford Invitational, clocking 13:51.83, the No. 3 mark all-time outdoors ... ran 9:02.83 to take second at the Pepsi Team Invitational in his first steeplechase of the season ... cut nine seconds off his PR in his only 1,500-meter run of the year, clocking 3:44.90 to take 11th in the invitational section at the Mt. SAC Relays.
2009-10: The only true freshman to compete attached during the year ... started his career off with an unattached eighth-place finish at the Sundodger in 24:23 ... was UW's No. 7 runner at the Notre Dame Invite, placing 79th ... ran at the Pac-10 Championships in Long Beach, placing 42nd in 24:33 as Washington's seventh finisher ... was ninth overall and third amongst Huskies at the Mike Hodges Invite ... (Track): Ran everything from the mile up to 5,000-meters in his first track season ... competed four times during the outdoor season, highlighted by a ninth-place finish in the Pepsi Team Invite 1,500-meter run, where he crossed in a season-best 3:53.97 ... opened the outdoor season with his first 5,000-meters, finishing in 14:30.09 at the Stanford Invitational ... indoors, ended the season with a big PR in the mile run, clocking 4:06.99 at the UW Final Qualifier, placing ninth ... ran at the MPSF Championships, running the anchor 1,600m leg on UW's DMR that took fifth in a time of 9:47.01 ... also was 12th in the MPSF 3k in 8:13.14, a season-best by five seconds.
