
Nearly forty Washington track and field athletes have extended their seasons, ranking among the best in the West as the fields for the NCAA West Preliminary Championships was announced today.
An exciting week at the Pac-12 Championships was capped off this evening as juniors Megan Goethals and Kasen Covington each won their first Pac-12 titles, and first ever for UW in the women's 5,000-meters and men's triple jump.
One of the best track meets annually in the country, the Pac-12 Championships brought out the best in a number of Huskies today, as Washington put five athletes on the podium at USC.
Washington looks to show off some star power as the championship season begins this weekend in Los Angeles, with USC hosting the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships at Loker Stadium.
