SEATTLE - Work on Washington's new outdoor track and field facility has picked up in recent weeks, with crews working to level and even out the field just north of Husky Soccer Stadium. The new track is slated for completion in the summer of 2012. The previous outdoor track in Husky Stadium was removed as part of the ongoing football stadium renovation. For now, be sure to join the Huskies in the Dempsey Indoor for the indoor track season, starting January 14. |
