SEATTLE -- Washington's Ja'Warren Hooker raced to two sprint victories and Aretha Hill was a winner in the shot put and discus in leading the Huskies to men's and women's scored meet wins over a seven-team field at the Washington Outdoor Track & Field Classic Saturday at Husky Stadium.

After completing his spring football workout in the morning, Hooker (Fr., Ellensburg, Wa.) returned to the stadium to win the 200 meters in 21.39 seconds and the 400 in 46.42. Hill, who set an American collegiate record in the discus last weekend, won that event with a heave of 198 feet, 7 inches. Her winning mark in the shot was 48-11 1/2.

Another UW double winner was thrower Ben Lindsey (Lynnwood, Wa.), who was first in both the shot (62-10 3/4) and discus (181-3).

Two-time American heptathlon champion Kelly Blair LaBounty, an invited guest, won each of her three events, the 100 (11.82), 200 (24.21) and javelin (171-1).
