Preview Looks Promising For Husky Track

Washington wins 4x800-meter relays as indoor season hits the ground running.

2012: Set a new PR in the pole vault in her first meet of the season, going 11-6 ¼ at the UW Indoor Preview to finish ninth ... also went 11-4 ½ at the Husky Classic ... outdoors, competed three times, with a best of 10-6 ¼ at the UW-WSU Dual, finishing seventh overall.

2011: Competed in the pole vault, and cleared a height at all eight meets she competed in ... took seventh in the pole vault at the UW-WSU dual, going 10-9 ... indoors, twice cleared a season-best of 10-11 ¾, once at the UW Invitational and once at the UW Indoor Open.

2010: Redshirted the year indoors and out, competing unattached in the pole vault ... personal-best clearance was 10-4 ¼ at the Husky Classic in February.

High School and Personal: Born in Tacoma, Washington ... mother is Kathy Wren ... has one older sister, Terassa, and one younger sister, Aleassa ... won the Evergreen League pole vault title as a junior and a senior, posting a best clearance of 11-3 at the league meet in 2008 ... was the 2A Washington state runner-up as a senior with a mark of 10-9 ... also took fifth at state as a junior in 2008 ... earned coaches award as a senior and was named most improved as both a junior and a sophomore ... also competed in volleyball and was a cheer squad member ... won the 2009 John Freeman Coffman scholarship.
