High School and Personal: Born in Olympia, Washington ... mother is Corinn Wohl and father is Greg Torfin ... has one brother, Kodie, and five sisters, Nyia, Kaysee, Kaitlyn, Nina, and Samira ... grandmother, Lyn Erwin, is a Washington alum ... a two-time Evergreen league champion at 400-meters, in 2010 and 2012 ... ran at the Washington 2A state meet in the 100m, 200m, and 400m as a senior, with a best finish of sixth in the 400-meters ... took fourth in the 400m at the BorderDuel in 2012, running a personal-best of 58.25 seconds ... placed third at the 2A state meet in the 400-meters as a sophomore in 58.60, and was 10th in the 200m and fourth on the 4x200m relay and seventh in the 4x400m relay that year as well ... also competed in the heptathlon as a freshman ... a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, earning defensive player of the year honors in 2010 and league honorable mention ... volleyball team was state champions in 2008 and runners-up in 2011 ... named Tumwater Female Athlete of the Year for 2012 ... earned Dick Nichols scholarship for student-athetes ...
