2010: Competed twice unattached in the javelin, with a best mark of 172-9 coming in an eighth-place finish at the Ken Shannon Invitational. 2007-09 (Western Washington): Played football for the Vikings until the program was dropped in early 2009 ... redshirted the 2007 season but was the WWU Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year ... did not compete in track after throwing discus at state as a senior in high school.
