Coach Metcalf On Flanagan
Kaylee has had a very impressive high school career in both cross country and on the track, and will adapt really well to longer distances in both at the college level. We have had the pleasure of working with her older sister, Lindsay, for the past four years, and we are so excited to continue the Flanagan tradition here at Washington!

The younger sister of current Husky Lindsay Flanagan ... a two-time Foot Locker Cross Country Nationals competitor and a top-20 finisher at Nike Cross Nationals as well ... qualified for her second straight Foot Locker finals in 2012 with an eighth-place finish at the Midwest Regional, and went on to take 34th at nationals ... in 2011, she pulled off the rare Foot Locker and Nike Cross Nationals double, placing 31st at Foot Locker and 18th at NXN ... had a career-best fourth-place finish at NXN Midwest Regionals in 2011 ... captured her first Illinois state track title as a junior in 2011, winning the 3A 3,200-meters in 10:30.47 ... a three-time top-10 finisher at the Illinois 3A state cross country meet, placing fourth in 2012, third in 2011, and ninth in 2010 ... set a 3,200m PR of 10:25.98 at 2012 sectionals.
