The Shake Out With Robby Fegles

Senior pole vaulter will look to score at the Pac-12 Championships this weekend in Eugene.

2012: Wrapped up his Husky career by raising his PRs indoors and out, scoring at the Pac-12 Championships, and competing at a second NCAA West Prelims in the pole vault ... the fourth-place finisher at the Pac-12 meet, with a clearance of 16-10 ¼ ... cleared a career-best 17-2 ¾ at the Mt. SAC Relays, winning the open B flight ... had a tough end to his season at West Prelims, clearing just 16-2 ¾ to tie for 38th-place ... took second at the UW-WSU Dual meet, vaulting over 16-9 ¼ ... won the Trojan Invitational pole vault with a best of 16-7 ½ ... third at the Pepsi Team Invite at 16-2 ¾ ... indoors, was fourth at the Husky Classic with an indoor career-best of 17-1 ¾, tying him for 10th on the UW top-10 list ... just missed scoring at the MPSF Championships, placing ninth with a mark of 16-8 ... fifth at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, going 16-2 ¾.

2011: Progressed very well throughout the season, culminating with a bid to the NCAA West Prelim Championships where he finished 27th overall in the pole vault with a clearance of 16-6 ¾ ... qualified NCAAs with a personal-best clearance of 16-9 ½ at the Ken Shannon Invite where he tied for the win ... scored at his first Pac-10 meet, placing seventh with a clearance of 16-3 ½ ... won the vault at the UW-WSU dual, going over a then-season-best 16-5 ¼ ... redshirted the indoor season, competing four times unattached ... best showing came at the Husky Classic, where he cleared 16-5 ¼.

2008-10 (At Lane C.C.): Won the 2010 NWACC pole vault title ... took the pole vault title at the 2010 Oregon Twilight meet at Hayward Field, clearing a personal-best of 16-8 ... also won the Oregon Twilight meet in 2009, with a 16-6 ¾ clearance ... earned associate's degree.
