2011: Became the Pac-10 Champion at both 100-meters and 200-meters with a sensational day in Tucson, the first Husky to sweep the conference sprint titles since Ja'Warren Hooker in 2000 ... was named Pac-10 Athlete of the Meet as the individual high point scorer, after also running on UW's third-place 4x100-meter relay, which ran a season-best 39.62 seconds, fifth-fastest in school history ... ran 10.29 seconds to win the 100-meters at Pac-10s and 20.85 to win the 200-meter final despite suffering from a cold ... advanced to the final site for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 200-meters and the relay, earning All-America Second Team honors as the relay took 16th in the semis and All-America honorable mention for a 22nd-place finish in the 200-meter semis ... rebounded from some end of season fatigue to win the gold medal at the European Under-23 Championships in the Czech Republic, running 10.45 into a headwind in the final ... also took silver in the 200m at the European U23 meet, running 20.60 into a headwind in the final after a PR of 20.59 in the semis ... qualified for the European U23 meet by winning the British U23 100m title in a new wind-legal PR of 10.23 seconds, moving him to second on UW's Top-10 list ... ended his summer at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China, placing fourth in the 200-meters with a time of 20.67 seconds in the final and fifth in the 100-meters in 10.29 seconds ... started his year off with a win at the Stanford Invitational, running 10.37 seconds in the 100m final ... swept the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m titles at the Pepsi Team Invitational ... helped the Huskies to a dual win over Washington State, winning the 100-meters (10.44), 200-meters (21.00), and 4x100m relay (39.93) ... garnered Pac-10 Track Athlete of the Week honors on April 11 after his Pepsi Team Invite victories ... competed just once unattached during the indoor season, running the 60-meters at the UW Final Qualifier and clocking 6.90 seconds.

2010: Had the best season for a Husky men's sprinter in 10 years, qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes in his rookie campaign ... placed 13th overall in the 200-meters at NCAAs, the top freshman finisher overall, and was 14th in the 100-meters to take second among all freshmen ... ran a 100-meter PR of 10.32 seconds at the Pepsi Team Invite, the fifth-fastest time in school history ... also ran a wind-aided 100m time of 10.22 seconds to win the UW-WSU dual ... posted the seventh-fastest 200-meter time in school history with a 20.71-second effort in the NCAA Regional round in Austin ... carried a big load with five races at the Austin Regional, running two heats each of the 100m and 200m and a round of the 4x100-meter relay, and qualified eighth out of the west in both short sprints ... took third at the Pac-10 Championships in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes, posting the best finish in the 100m by a Husky since Ja'Warren Hooker ... swept the 100- and 200-meter dashes in the UW-WSU dual meet ... won the 200-meter dash at the Mondo Invitaitonal in Sacramento ... ran under 10.4 seconds in the 100m four times and under 21 seconds in the 200-meters four times as well ... helped the 4x1 relay to a season-best time of 40.14 at Regionals, placing 15th in the West ... indoors, scored for the Huskies at the MPSF Championships in both the 60m (4th) and the 200m (5th) ... his 60-meter season-best of 6.78 seconds tied Napoleon Kaufman for sixth-best in school history.

High School and Personal: Born in London, England ... parents are Helen and Aderemi Alaka ... has one older brother, Richard, and one younger brother, Daniel ... the top junior sprinter in England, he captured the 100m dash title at the England U20 Championships in 2008 ... also won the 100m title in 2004 at the England Schools U15 meet ... ran on England's 4x100m relay team at the 2008 World Junior Championships in Poland, taking fifth overall ... also ran in the open 100m at Worlds, taking fifth in his opening heat and finishing in the top half of all competitors.
