ATLANTA-- Washington sophomore Bruno Barbic wrapped up competition at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships with a 20th place finish in the 100 freestyle. Barbic posted a time of 43.66 in the preliminary heat, just missing the top-16 cut to swim in the finals.

Barbic had been seeded 20th in the event with a time of 43.56 and already set the UW record last season with a time of 43.48.

Barbic, who earned All-America honors in the 50 freestyle on Thursday with a 13th place finish and a school record time of 19.52, concludes the NCAA meet with two top-20 finishes.
