Washington Crews Collect Three Trophies at Pac-10 Regatta

May 15, 2005

The Husky men's junior varsity won its second straight Pac-10 title.

The undefeated jayvees celebrate their victory.

The championship trophy remains the property of Washington.

The UW women's novice eight won their first Pac-10 title since 2000.

Coxswain Alysha Koorji and stroke Kim Armstrong celebrate.

Coach Erica Schwab congratulates her athletes.

This novice eight hardware will look good in the trophy case of the new shellhouse.

The varsity four men finished first, then broke a rigger and the shell tipped over ...

... bringing the officials' launch to the rescue ...

... and delivering the Huskies back to the shore ...

... leaving their empty shell behind them.

The varsity four athletes eventually dried off and collected the Pac-10 championship trophy.
