Husky Rowing Experience: 2002 (Freshman)--Served as coxswain of the freshman eight that won a gold medal at IRA Championships ... directed the crew that went undefeated all season ... helped lead Huskies to a gold medal at Pac-10s and the San Diego Crew Classic ... also contributed to victories at the Windermere Cup, California, Washington State and Oregon State duals. 2003 (Sophomore)--Attended school at Washington, but did not participate with the rowing team. 2004 (Junior)--Was a member of the junior varsity eight, and varsity eight at different times throughout the season ... won gold at the San Diego Crew Classic with the junior varsity eight ... led the varsity eight to gold at the Pac-10 Championships and then helped to earn silver at the IRA Championships. Personal: Son of Christine and Sidney King ... mother is an oncology nurse ... father attended the University of Toronto and is a physician ... older sister, Lesley (31) is a teacher ... older brother, Jonathan (23) attended Cornell.
