Husky Rowing Experience: 2005 (Junior) --Served all season as coxswain for the junior varsity eight crew ... the UW jayvees earned the bronze medal at the Pac-10 championships ... directed the JV eight to a first-place performance in the petite final at the NCAA championships ... led UW to first-place efforts at the Windermere Cup and Oregon State dual. 2004 (Sophomore) --Member of the silver medal varsity four crew at the NCAA Championships ... coxed the varsity four to a Pac-10 championship ... varsity four also won the Windermere Cup and the Washington State dual. 2003 (Freshman) -- Coxed the top novice eight boat all season ... directed UW to a bronze medal performance at the Pac-10 Championships ... helped the Huskies to dual victories over Washington State and Oregon State ... UW won the novice eight race at the Windermere Cup.

Personal: Daughter of Peggy Anderson ... mother is a nurse at the University of Washington Medical Center ... studied in Rome for 2-1/2 months during the 2005 summer ... has two pet goldfish, Theresa and Jaws.

I chose Washington because: It is the best university in Washington state.
The best thing about Seattle is: My family lives here.
My best race was: The WSU dual in Pullman my novice year because we learned that confidence and determination could go a long way.
After I graduate, I plan to: Do something artsy.
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: What you get out of this sport depends on how much you put into it.
