
Huskies Wrap Play at Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. – The Washington women's golf team wrapped up play on the third and final day of the Stanford Intercollegiate, finishing 18th with a team score of +44 for the tournament and +15 on the day.
Carmen Lim led the Huskies with a strong even-par final round, climbing the leaderboard to finish 53rd overall at +7 for the tournament. Lim had four birdies in her third round, making for a solid finish to her weekend.
Wendy Tang followed, carding a +2 for the day and +11 overall, highlighted by two birdies in her final round.
Amber Li and Mads Smith both tallied a +17 for the tournament. Li shot +3 on the day, while Smith closed with an +11 final round. Athena Ni shot +10 in the final round to end the tournament at +20 overall.
"Our energy and attitude was solid," said head coach Anna Temple. "We need to do a better job executing our course strategies. We have a quick turnaround before our next event and we're excited to get back at it!"
The Huskies' next tournament will kick off on October 27th and will close out the fall schedule.
