BERKELEY, Calif. – Washington's run at the ITA Northwest Regionals came to an end in the doubles semifinals on Tuesday afternoon at the Hellman Tennis Complex.

In the quarterfinals, the Huskies had two doubles pairs going. Erika Matsuda and Carina Syrtveit won their match against Stanford's Caroline Driscoll and Alyssa Ahn 8-5 to advance to the semifinals. Reece Carter and Jermine Sherif battled with 58th-ranked Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy but fell 8-3.

64th-ranked Matsuda/Syrtveit took on WSU's Alvarez/Sande in the semifinals but lost in straight sets 6-3, 603.
