Husky Fans encouraged to WEAR PURPLE at UW's Pac-12 Home Opener Oct. 7 vs. Cal.
The University of Washington department of athletics is asking Husky Fans to LET YOUR PURPLE REIGN by wearing purple at UW's Pac-12 Home Opener on Oct. 7 vs. Cal.
Purple pom poms will be distributed in certain sections of Husky Stadium with additional purple-themed surprises planned as well.
"Purple Reign" represents the quest for excellence in athletics, academics and community, in hopes of Husky Athletics leaving a lasting impact on the city of Seattle and beyond. The 2017 Women's Rowing National Championship Team, and other achievements of excellence, will be recognized during the game.
